HILEV4 - Add HPF mosaic and LPF mosaic for Mars 1:500k mapping The input to LEVEL4 is the 51x51 HPF mosaic and the 251x251 HPF mosaic (output of HILEV3B processing sequence). A 51x51 low pass filter is run on the valid pixels of the 251x251 HPF mosaic, the output of the filter is then added to the 51x51 HPF input mosaic. The keyword LEVEL is updated with the value 4 in the labels area of the final mosaic. The purpose of this program is to create the final tone matched output mosaic of a Mar 1:500k high resolution quadrangle in the sinusoidal equal-area projection. Programs that this procedure runs are the following: BOXFILTER - runs a 51x51 low pass filter on the valid pixels of the 251x251 high pass filter mosaic ADD - combines the 51x51 low pass filter mosaic and the 51x51 high pass filter mosaic LABELS - update PRODUCT_ID keyword with MTM quadrangle name, and LEVEL equal 4. ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Parm | Description |
---|---|
FROM | These are the filenames of the 51x51 high pass filter image mosaic and the 251x251 high pass filter image mosaic created from the HILEV3B processing sequence. A 51x51 low pass filter will be run on the 251x251 high pass filter mosaic before adding it to the input 51x51 high pass filter image mosaic. The order of these files does not matter because the procedure will identify the mosaics by the LEVEL keyword in the labels. |
TO | Final output mosaic name for the tone matched sinusoidal equal-area mosaic Default extension is .cub |
WORK | User specified work disk where temporary files will be created. NOTE: A workfile will be created on the specified work disk and will be deleted. The workfile is the 51x51 low pass filter mosaic. Default current directory |
