noproj Documentation

noproj - Compute camera distortions.
NOPROJ produces a transformation file (TFILE) to GEOM to remove or
restore electronic camera distortions on cubes, no other geometric
corrections (such as map projections) will be made or removed. If the
mission for the cube is Viking, Voyager or Mariner, FINDRX must be run
on the cube before NOPROJ to find the reseau positions and store them
on the cube labels. GEOM must be run after NOPROJ to actually transform
the cube.

PROGRAMMER: Kay Edwards U.S.G.S. Flagstaff

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

ParmDescription
FROM
Input cube file name. If the file extension is omitted,
then ".cub" will be assumed. The labels of the cube to be
transformed must contain reseaus if the spacecraft name is
Viking, Voyager or Mariner.
TFILE
This is the name given to a data file needed by GEOM. After
this program has finished GEOM must be run to actually
transform the cube.
SPACE
This is the spacing of a rectangular grid in pixels which is
overlayed on the output cube. A distortion correction is
calculated at each intersection. This parameter determines
how often this calculation is done.
OPT
This option allows the user to create either an undistorted
cube (UNDISTORTED) or a distorted cube (DISTORTED). Raw
and LEVEL1 cubes are distorted.
