Title: Dem generation from LOLA RDR data products

Suggest me how to generate Lola RDR data in the form of shapefiles such that i can extract my profiles of any target areas where i go.

Note:For my observation i did tried it in Arc GIS10.0 using spatial analyst-->Interpolation-->Kriging method by taking Ptopo as the elevation parameter and outputcellsize optional as 5 but i am not sure about the submwter pixel accuracy .:( .Its just a try .

SO i need the possible methods to generate DEM rasters using the track data,if it is possible.

Interpolation is more of an art than science. There are plenty to methods and the parameters options are unlimited. Natural Neighborhood, which is available in Arc, has been shown to do a good job. The LOLA team uses the GMT spline tension method. You can download those gridded interpolated DEM products from the PDS and PDS Imgs or GeoJpeg2000 format: http://pds-geosciences.wustl.edu/lro/lro-l-lola-3-rdr-v1/lrolol_1xxx/data/lola_gdr/

If you just want to profile a single track you can get away with downloading the shapefile from GeoScience node:

Loading into ArcMap and select the track or part of the track you want to profile. Create a graph scatter or vertical line graph from the table options and plot topography (PtTopo) versus latitude (PtLat).
