Added new program cnetstats that outputs statistics on points in a control net similar to campt, as well as the information about the control measure and the control point. The output is in comma separated value (.csv) form and can be easily exported to excel.

A new parameter "PRESERVE" has been added to allow the user the option not to delete Control Points with Measures equal to one. This parameter is FALSE by default.

Changed means of entering the projection type to be a map file so as to allow for more customization and accepted projection types.

New Class: GroupedStatistics (PROG)
« Reply #95 on: September 15, 2009, 08:38:19 AM »
This Class encapsulates many Statistics objects which may be related somehow, for example statistics on control measures.

PvlFormatPds (USER)
« Reply #96 on: September 15, 2009, 02:03:19 PM »
The "PvlFormatPds" was modified to fix a bug where an extra set of double quotes was being added to strings with quotes.  This fix should prevent pds labels from being read out improperly.

Added the application mar10restore under the mariner mission. This application is for mariner10 images which were compressed and now when viewed are mostly null pixels. This application removes noise and then averages to produce a full image without null pixels.

campt and CameraPointInfo (PROG)
« Reply #98 on: September 16, 2009, 08:52:41 AM »
Added the new class CameraPointInfo which encapsulates the functionality of campt. It takes a location as either a sample and a line or a latitude and longitude and returns all available information on that point in the form of a PvlGroup.
Modified campt to use this class. For another example of usage, look at the new class cnetstats.

Program will no longer abort if a Control point has no measures.  It will print a warning and continue.

hicalbeta (USER)
« Reply #102 on: September 16, 2009, 11:05:42 AM »
The hicalbeta application has been modified with the following changes:
  • Removed the IOF parameter and replaced it with the UNITS parameter.  This parameter allows the user to select the output calibration units as I/F reflectance, DN/microseconds or DNs.  The default is I/F.
  • Added a new module called Zt, which applies a temperature-dependent gain correction.  This correction was actually part of the Za (flatfield) module but has been segregated so it can evolve independently.
  • Changed the default behavior of the OPATH parameter.  This parameter controls where log files are written, which includes the program log and individual module logs if turn on in the config file.  It now writes these logs to the same directory as the TO file.  Previously it wrote these logs to the directory the application is invoked/run from.
  • Updated documentation to reflect these changes.

hical (USER)
« Reply #103 on: September 16, 2009, 11:40:05 AM »
The hical application has been essentially replaced. hical is forthwith deemed the latest, greatest, stable HiRISE calibration application and it should be used by all ISIS users as the standard for calibration of HiRISE image data.  It is essentially a snapshot of the hicalbeta application.  hical will periodically be updated with a version of hicalbeta as we continue to improve HiRISE calibration processes.  Release schedules for new versions of hical will be determined by the HiRISE HiCal Team and ISIS Developers.

Related to this action, all calibration files in $ISIS3DATA/mro/calibration/matrices have been replaced with a snapshot of hicalbeta calibration and configuration files.  This will also continue to be maintained in parallel with hicalbeta development and hical release cycles.

Please see this post regarding this issue.

Obsolete HiRISE Calibration Applications Removed (USER)
« Reply #104 on: September 16, 2009, 11:46:59 AM »
As per this post, the following HiRISE applications have been permanently removed from ISIS:
  • hiclean
  • hiclean2
  • hipical

Also, the previous implementation of hical has been completely replaced by a snapshot of hicalbeta.  Please see this post regarding the current state of hical.

As such, all ISIS users should now use hical to calibrate HiRISE image data.
