Photometric models in photomet (SOLVED)
« on: May 21, 2012, 12:59:35 AM »
Hi

I can't find in ISIS documentation a mathematical formulation of the different photometric models (Hapke, Minnaert, Lunar Lambert, ...) available in photomet application. I would like to know precisely how the parameters are combined to produce the photometrically corrected cubes.
Where to find this information?

Thanks

This is a very reasonable request;  internally we have identified how helpful it would be to have the actual equations in the documentation.   This post has been transferred to our internal tracking system (Mantis Post #843).   Currently, the target version for improved Photomet documentation is the August Release.     As the equations are surfaced, I can try to post them under this issue earlier than August;  so please stay tuned!

The documentation for photomet has been improved and now includes the photometric model equations.   This update will be included in the new ISIS 3 release scheduled this month.
