Description

Hi
If i make a mosaic using 10 images, then is there a way to see the image name by hovering the mouse over the image or any other tool in qview which helps to see the names of files used to make mosaic?

Hi Adriana,
Thanks for searching and finding the other post, and for creating this question.

To answer: If you created the mosaic with tracking turned on, you can open the cube in qview and bring up the advanced track tool with the "File name" option checked. As you move your mouse cursor over the image the track tool will show the cube name that contributed the pixel.

Note: If the tracking was NOT turned on during the creation of the mosaic, then there is not record of what cube contributed the pixels.

One more note, tracking will not work with the automos/mapmos priority=average

Thanks Tammy. It worked. I did as you told. Earlier I had not kept the tracking 'on'. Now I can see the filenames of the images forming the mosaic.
