AutoReg sub-pixel failure results in the registration using the previous value
When using sub-pixel registration, if the sub-pixel registration fails the best matched value gets set to the previous successful registration match values. AutoReg should be setting the best-matched values to the whole pixel.
This was found when outputting all of the registration values including the failures (found during EIS testing).

If subpixel registration fails, the point's location should be set back to the original location so that further attempts at registration can be made after the fact. Why would we set it the whole pixel match value - it failed registration. Am I not understanding something? What provoked this post?
