Description

ISIS Version 3.5.1 on astrovm4

Given a point with multiple measures, you cannot select a measure from the dropbox in the control point editor. I am using putty and xming on my Windows PC.

History

on astrovm4

/work/users/mbland/Europa-data/wedges/highres/control/control-2/

cube list is lev1.lis
network auto_refed_reg1ed_maned3.net

must have at least 3 measures

I was unable to reproduce the problem on my pc/xming/putty environment.

The problem could be reproduced under a 2nd user in the Masursky room.

Note: removing the /home/mbland/.Isis/qnet did not help.

The qnet behavior is fine for Mike on astrovm3 - isis3.4.13

Ian and I are able to reproduce this problem when using isis3.5.1 on Windows with Xming and Putty with two different systems (astrovm4 and prog22).

We tested the network that Mike provided and another network, both failed when filtering points and when not filtering points.

We have not been able to reproduce this problem when using our linux desktops.

There IS a work around for internal users if you set your isis to isis3beta.

I also can not reproduce the problem Mike sees via astrovm4/putty/Xming on a windows box. Everything works as expected under VMWare and linux shells.
Maybe seeing if it can be reproduced under isis3production or isis3beta as Makayla suggested is worth a shot. Could putty be out of date?

FYI - based on a recent email, Tammy and I are currently (soon to change) working on Window 7 boxes that will be upgraded to Windows 10. Since I don't see David or Mike on the list I assume they are already on Win10, so perhaps that change along with whatever version of putty/xming came with it is creating the differences?

I should be upgraded tomorrow, and if that happens, I will test qnet on my box next week and see if anything has changed.

This can be reproduced on fedora 25 by remote desk topping to the windows box and using putty and xming there to go to prog24

we upgraded from 5.6 to 5.7

Looking through their changes it doesn't seem like they ever addressed anything like this directly during that time
