Description

The spiceit server is a redesign of the spice server application which has been
running as a web service serving up spice kernels to users over the Internet. Originally designed
as a simple cgi script accepting and returning hex-encoded streams of XML, it is now a full
web-server based upon the QtWebApp library (http://stefanfrings.de/qtwebapp/index-en.html)
It sends and receives JSON objects, and implements a RESTful interface (with currently only one endpoint,
but that will be changing in the future).

Testing has been completed, and it is ready to be deployed.
