To whom it may concern,

I am going through the manual installation for ISIS and have downloaded the base data and binaries. I inserted the UNIX environment setup (ISISROOT=/work1/isis3/isis
export ISISROOT . $ISISROOT/scripts/
) into the emacs file but I am having difficulty getting the qview command to work afterwards.

I keep on getting error reports such as this: "error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory". I received another error before this one regarding a different library which I then downloaded onto Ubuntu. Only afterwards when I tried qview again, the error above appeared.

Is the Ubuntu software missing necessary libraries which should have been installed previously, or have I missed an installation step?

We've patched the current Ubuntu build on our distribution servers.

Please rerun the rsync command for Ubuntu. This should only pull down the libpng files.
