Description

Hello,

I'm download ISIS3 into my laptop (MacOS Sierra version 10.12.4) and when typing ISISROOT command for the startup, it says "no such file or directory" even though I'm writing right the command.

Hi Carolina,

Could you tell me the exact command you were typing?

I downloaded the script and typed the following:

(Manual Installation)

$ cd/caro
$ mkdir ISIS3
$ cd isis3
$ rsync -azv --delete --partial isisdist.astrogeology.usgs.gov::x86-64_darwin_OSX/isis .
$ rsync -azv --delete --partial isisdist.astrogeology.usgs.gov::isis3data/data/base data/
$ rsync -azv --delete --partial isisdist.astrogeology.usgs.gov::isis3data/data/mer data/
$ rsync -azv --delete --partial isisdist.astrogeology.usgs.gov::isis3data/data/mex data/
$ rsync -azv --delete --partial isisdist.astrogeology.usgs.gov::isis3data/data/mro data/
$ setenv ISISROOT /caro/isis3/isis
$ source $ISISROOT/scripts/isis3Startup.csh

I also tried to run the startup script for bourne shells but it doesn't recognize the directory...

for bourne shells i type:

$ ISISROOT=/caro/isis3/isis
$ export ISISROOT
$ . $ISISROOT/scripts/isis3Startup.sh

Using the same terminal you ran the previous commands in, could you reply with the output to the following commands?

ls /caro/isis3/isis
ls /caro/isis3/isis/scripts
echo $ISISROOT

Also what shell are you using?

Hello,

I was able to run the startup script. Tough, Qview doesn't appear to show all of its features.. Look attached file...

Can you be more specific?

Is it possible the download was incomplete? A post from earlier this week had missing icons in qview and later determined the icons directory didn't download properly. See #5345.
