Hi,

Is there any funding available for international student to attend this workshop? If not will it be possible to have live telecast for those who can not attend it?

Added by Tammy Becker over 1 year ago

If you are interested in attending this workshop, please email Tammy Becker, tbecker@usgs.gov.

There is no funding available for students to attend.

A live telecast is not currently planned, though we will look into the possibility.

Hi,

There are many interested students who are keen to attend. So if possible we request you to have a live telecast as large no of people are interested to learn.

Hi

This workshop would be too early for me as I do not have basic familiarity with ISIS. As I am in the UK travelling for a two day workshop is not easy to justify. From my standpoint if you could tele record key presentations which could be appended / integrated with the existing training material would be very useful. Additionally do you have a technically supervised users blog where ideas problems can be shared ? if not this could help ( similar to ARCGIS Geonet).

Thank you everyone for your interest in this ISIS Workshop.
The workshop has reached full capacity of registered participants and is now closed.

If you would like to be added to a cancelation list, email Tammy Becker, tbecker@usgs.gov.

After discussion and consideration, we have concluded that this workshop will not be telecast live.
However, we are currently researching methods for quality audio/visual recording of the workshop. If this recording proves successful, we will make it publically available.
